The doors to your delivery trucks get a lot of heavy use, and once in a while you’re going to have to replace one. You have a choice of two broad types of tractor trailer door, swing and overhead. The first is just what it sounds like, a hinged door that swings open horizontally. These doors leave more space for cargo within the truck than overhead doors, but require more time to open and close, and may be blocked from opening by outside obstructions at delivery sites. Overhead or roll-up doors allow for quicker and easier access to cargoes, but their roll-up mechanism takes up valuable space inside the truck and involves more moving parts to maintain and repair.
